Passioni e visioni: percorsi dalla storia della Galleria d’Arte Moderna Achille Forti, Verona

The exhibition Passioni e visioni: percorsi dalla storia della Galleria d'Arte Moderna Achille Forti includes a masterpiece from the permanent collection of the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Rome: Busto di signora (1907-1912) by Auguste Rodin (inv. AM 12).

Through more than 150 works from the museum collection and important loans from public museums and private collectors, the exhibition tells the story of Verona's prestigious civic collection, seen in the historical, social and cultural context of the city. Crossing a century from the end of the 19th century to the end of the 20th, the exhibition focuses in particular on Divisionist poetics and the linguistic experiments developed in the 20th century around the theme of light, and reaches the aniconic experiences of the 1970s and 1980s.
