Amedeo Bocchi: L’arte dell'eleganza. Le donne, lo stile, la moda

The artwork Nel parco (1919), oil on canvas from the permanent collection of the Galleria d'arte moderna in Rome (inv. AM 2888), is part of the exhibition Amedeo Bocchi: l'arte dell'eleganza. Le donne, lo stile, la moda.
The exhibition includes more than 40 female portraits, made by the Master between 1901 and 1974, from the rich artistic heritage of the Fondazione Monteparma and from prestigious Italian public and private collections. The original theme selected for the event allows the visitor to discover Bocchi's female universe in a dynamic and multidisciplinary way: the paintings are matched with clothes, magazines and audiovisual contributions, in order to offer visitors a complete experience of the cultural and social context of the time.
