Exhibition organized by Beatrice Avanzi and Daniela Ferrari, hosted at the Casa Milà-La Pedrera in Barcelona.
The 1932 oil painting Natura Morta (AM 1056), from the collection of the Gallery of Modern Art, is included in the exhibition Morandi. Infinite Resonance, held at Casa Milà-La Pedrera in Barcelona.
The retrospective exhibition dedicated to Giorgio Morandi (Bologna 1890-1964), one of the most important artists of the first half of the 20th century, features numerous figurative works, many of which have as their subject still lifes and landscapes, which become increasingly symbolic and rarefied. The work is illustrative of Morandi's style, characterised by a peculiar use of light and a progressive formal reduction.
