The conference will be presented by: Maria Vittoria Marini Clarelli - Sovrintendente Capitolina ai Beni Culturali, Massimo Mininni - curator of the catalogue, Giuliana Benassi - curator, Cecilia Canziani - curator, Ludovico Pratesi - art critic and curator. Moderator: the artist Cesare Pietroiusti.

The catalogue Materia Nova. Roma Ultime generazioni a confronto (Manfredi editions) include new essays (Maria Vittoria Marini Clarelli, Valeria Corazza, Patrizio Di Nezio, Massimo Mininni, Paola Rossi, Elena Stancanelli, Paola Ugolini, Daniela Vasta) and images of site-specific interventions by the artists who contributed to the new experimental exhibition project Materia Nova. Roma nuove generazioni a confronto, hosted in the Galleria from 17 December 2021 to 13 March 2022.

The exhibition and the catalogue, edited by Massimo Mininni, are promoted by Roma Culture, Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali.

The main target of the exhibition, and now of the catalogue, was to promote the local creative talent of the 21st century through an attentive and identified selection of the Capital's new art. This was the first exhibition in the capital's context, focusing on mainly young artists working in groups in art spaces and collective studios located in the Roman neighbourhood, but not only. The new realities of the tomorrow's art.
