Exhibition curated by Paolo Bolpagni visitable in Rovigo at Palazzo Roverella.
Two paintings from the Galleria d'Arte Moderna - Armando Spadini, Sotto la pergola (inv. AM 22) of 1914 and Ferruccio Ferrazzi, Frammento di composizione (inv. AM 23) of 1920-21 - are on display in the exhibition Pierre-Auguste Renoir: l'alba di un nuovo classicismo. The exhibition itinerary, which winds its way through the rooms of Palazzo Roverella, develops around the production of the great French master Pierre-Auguste Renoir, with a special focus on his trip to Italy in 1881, which marked the progressive departure from the Impressionist experience and the beginning of a new and more solid figuration, marked by a "modern classicism".
